2020 Lucas County Sheriff Candidate Night

The Burroughs Neighborhood is active in advocating for our neighborhood, and sometimes this overlaps with criminal justice matters. The race for Sheriff this year is an exciting one, so we decided to invite the canddiates.​

The Night was held on AMarch 2, 2020 at 6:30pm at the Toledo Heights Branch Library(not affiliated).

 

Candidates were given 20 minutes each, with potential topics, but were not required to focus on any.

2019 Toledo City Council Candidate Forum

The Burroughs Neighborhood includes both District 2 and District 3, and therefore we invited all candidates.

The Forum was held on August 19, 2019 at 7:00pm at the Toledo Heights Branch Library.

 

There were opening statements, prepared questions, audience questions, and closing statements.
