Begin a campaign to get participants

  • The people you seek out may depend on the type of organization you decide on being

  • Do you want members only, neighbors only, or do you want it to be open to the public

Business Meeting

Set the basics

  • Meet with your group and establish regular meeting dates and times

  • Create a constitution for your organization

  • Decide on monetary policies (most require an EIN number from the IRS)

  • Establish Officers, such as president, vice-president, secretary, or treasurer

  • Establish voting privileges within the organization
